About Erika
(she/her/hers)
Erika brings over 20 years of clinical nutrition experience to Rising Root Nutrition®, the practice she started in 2019. For the past 15 years, she has specialized in treating eating disorders, supporting clients through partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and now the outpatient level of care. Her goal is to provide quality nutrition therapy in a safe environment, to help each individual develop a healthy relationship with food and their body.
Erika understands that your relationship with food is deeply personal, and that reaching out for support takes courage. Whether you are navigating an eating disorder, struggling with food or body image, or finding that dieting efforts have not brought you peace, she offers a space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and explore a different approach. She offers supportive care while gently challenging clients when appropriate, as they work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
She also provides professional supervision for eating disorder care and supervision hours toward becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
